The buildings & facilities
The Residences is a cluster of nine buildings on Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard, developed by Emaar and finished in 2006–2007. Eight are residential towers — The Residences 1 and 3 to 9, also mapped as Burj Residences — and building 2 is a hotel-apartment block. Propsearch counts 1,056 apartments. The facilities below are the ones both Propsearch and Bayut list for the cluster; what you can use depends on the tower and the apartment.
Sports courts
Squash courts and a badminton court are listed for the cluster.
Residents' rooms
A mini-theatre, library, meeting room, business centre and day-care centre are listed for the cluster.
Concierge, security & parking
Concierge and 24-hour security, with four levels of parking under the podium. Parking arrangements differ by apartment — confirm before you arrive.

The towers sit on a landscaped podium between Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard and Burj Park, on the south side of Burj Khalifa Lake. Distances vary by tower, so each figure is a range from the nearest to the farthest of the eight residential towers.

Is The Residences the same as Burj Residences?
Yes. The eight residential towers are mapped as Burj Residences 1 and 3 to 9 on OpenStreetMap, and some portals (for example Bayut's Tower 5 page) use the Burj Residences name too. Land Department records use names such as Residences_W1 and Residences_E2.
Is it the same building as The Residence Burj Khalifa?
No. The Residence Burj Khalifa is a separate, newer Emaar project (construction began in 2023). The Residences 1–9 were completed in 2006–2007.
Which tower is the tallest?
The Residences 1, with 42 floors according to The Skyscraper Center and Propsearch. The towers range from under 30 floors to 42 — see the tower-by-tower guide for each one.
Can I rent for a month or longer?
Yes. Open dates can be booked online for a month or more, and the search shows the total. For longer leases, send a monthly rental enquiry and we'll reply with apartments that are actually available.
Is this the official website of The Residences?
No. The Residences was developed by Emaar. We are an independent operator of furnished apartments and are not affiliated with Emaar.
